Hi I just answered your PM on that . Yes for Russian dwarfs with adaptions because of the height - there would injury risks from falls without adaptions. No for roborovskis due to bar spacing in my opinion.

To adapt it for dwarf hamsters it would either need a full level making or put cardboard or hemp mat round the inside bars and have much deeper substrate - which would effectively reduce the height. You’d need at least 10cm substrate above the top of the cage base. So you’d be talking approx 10” deep substrate (about 25cm deep).
