My syrian has this cage, but I did find it a little small and wanted more space for toys so I now have a rotastak pod attachment

I'm also going to make a bin cage attachment so he has a large area to run about in

The top cage is the same as the one I have and I am trying to do the same thing, ie extend it ! I dont know if Flissy is still using the forum but I would be interested in knowing more about how she he/she connected the different pieces. It looks like tape came in handy but I'd be interested in knowing if that was safe or if hammy chewed through it ?

This thread is 4 year old. However, you should extend a peggy metro as its too small but dont extend into rotastak as thats awful. Have you thought of connecting the peggy metro to a bin cage for example? You cut a hole in a bin the size of the tube and pop it through, add a connector ring and then the tube cant come out

I wouldnt think tape is safe due to it being plastic and glue.

Hi, I've managed to extend my Savic Peggy now and have joined it to a Ferplast Laura but I now have the problem mentioned by leafpool14 in that my hammie is using the horizontal tube section as its bed despite me having put a sleeping area on both floors.
