Barney review

Not sure if I should add this onto someone else reviewe or not of so can admin please delete this one.

Well it arrivd on Friday morning which was awesome since I only ordered very late Tuesday night.

Pros: its huge I didn't quite realise just how big it was when I seen it online.
Really deep base which is great as my hammy likes to dig.
Door sizes are great aswell, she's eagerly awaits the, being opened.
Bar spacing is good no chance of her escaping well at least I hope she won't.

Cons: I'm not keen on the gaps between the side, front and back panels they seem a little to far apart not far enough for hammy to escape but something that could be modified slightly.

The house is huge I feel it takes up a lot of room so removed it and added a smaller one.

The shelf aswell could be slightly smaller so I shall be chopping a bit off.

I will update with pics when I finish putting everything in it xx

How are you getting on with your Barney cage? I ordered mine from the German zooplus website as for some reason it was cheaper there than the UK site even taking P&P into account. It arrived with a broken corner on the base part which I tried to patch up. It was fine for months but now Pixie has chewed through the base and escaped on Friday night and it looks like I'll need to replace the cage unless I can get a replacement base unit

I'll try and take a photo of the damage.

Getting ok rather good to be honest well apart from the fact the the shelf had lots of splinters in it. I just removed that and replaced with a plastic shelf
