Washers on either side of the hole secured with a long bolt and nut.

We tend to use bolt, nut and washers for things like that Put a washer on a bolt, bolt through the hole, then another washer and a nut on the outside. Works really well for chewy hamsters

And Lougarry beat me to it, but I agree with what she said

Nuts and bolts are these sort of things - Nut (hardware) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
And these things are washers, you want one of the bigger sizes - Washer (hardware) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Any hardware store should have them

I apologise if this seems a bit odd linking to wikipedia but it had pictures... Plus ebay is confusing me

Good plan, after ebay has just confused me a lot I was going to suggest waiting and getting them in person. Apparently getting them online would be completely and utterly beyond me lol
I hope Carmine does like everything when he gets it

Its more that ebay has about 4 hundred varieties and hardware stores don't lol

And yeah, I'm the same. This lot are rediculously spoilt but they're happy so its worth it
