Re: Imac Fantasy - Cage Review
I also have the Imac fantasy! It is my favourite cage so far as the surface area of the floor is so large and so my hamster, Dorito, has a lot of room to run and play. I got mine from the range, but I think it was £40..I didn't know you could get extensions for it! I will look into that

I'd go with whichever was cheaper and which would suit your hamster more Does your ham like to dig? If so, I'd say get a larger cage so that you can add loads more substrate

Re: Imac Fantasy - Cage Review
Squeak has a three floor iMac fantasy. If got a connector over the bottom floor door with tubes leading to her two bin cages, one holding a full big pack of Carefresh as her burrowing box. Her 12 inch flying saucer is in the smaller bin cage.
If your hammy likes the cage, why not add to it?

Re: Imac Fantasy - Cage Review
I have 2 of these now and plan at least one more, i absolutely LOVE them!!
They are very spacious, i've ordered an extension for each of mine.
I love the colours and i like the shape and the way it fits together / comes apart.
The only one drawback is that they can't be stacked

Re: Imac Fantasy - Cage Review
I was thinking of buying an Imac fantasy but firstly I would like to know what size wheel it will take and if that would be large enough for a syrian xx

Re: Imac Fantasy - Cage Review
it only takes an 8" wheel i believe or a 12" flying saucer but that takes up most of a floor so would need its own additional floor.
With an extension many do use it for syrians, though i personally prefer something that a) more substrate can fit in and b) has a large footprint so that as hammy ages and possibly struggles with tubes, the height of a cage can be removed and there will still be lots of room
