Sonny's 10 gallon is way to small :/ Need cage alternatives!
As some of you may know, about a week or so ago I adopted another Syrian from the same rescue I got Jojo. He's a sweet 3 month old Syrian, and I'm told he is sable colored. When I first got him, I purchased a 10 gallon tank. When I got Jojo I was sure to get a 20 gallon long. Silly me thought that since he was slightly smaller, and because he was used to a 10 gallon, the cage would magically become bigger. Nope, it's still puny! I can't fit anything in there for him, where it's the total opposite with Jojo. I looked into buying a cage topper, but it's too expensive for such a small, barely noticeable addition. I really would prefer not getting another 20 gallon long as they are expensive, and heavy. I thought about getting a WARE natural cage, because they seem to be the only commercial cages worth buying, but I love how the aquarium holds in the bedding. I have thought about making a bin cage, and honestly leaning towards it at this point.
- If you have any other affordable cage options please share ( available in the US)
- If you have links where they show you how to make bin cages, or picture/videos of bin cages, that would be great.
Thanks for everything guys!
