Re: need help with possibly pregnant syrian from pet store
So I put back the wheel on as she was hanging on the cage when I went to check on her. She seems a lot slimmer and was excited to have the wheel back. I can’t tell if she has bad birthed. She was on the wheel for several hours and I hear no squeals or squeaking. I am a little confused as to if she’s even pregnant, gave birth, or neglecting the pups (if any) at this point. Tempted to get a thermal camera to see if there are any warm beans down there...

I think I wouldn’t attempt anything like that just yet. Best to observe from a distance for a few days. And keep putting extra food out. You don’t always hear squeaks initially.

Should I tape the wheel and disable in the meantime? She ran on it for 2-3 hours straight yesterday...

Re: need help with possibly pregnant syrian from pet store
I wouldn’t do anything in the cage at all - any disturbance may mean she culls the babies. As she’s gone thin I would just take it out again for now but do it quietly when she’s asleep. For the next few days just observe her from a distance ideally. And keep us posted. She may cull the babies anyway if she’s too young to cope. But it will be a case of wait and see - if she takes lots of food to the nest she may well be looking after them.

I can’t tell from the pictures but I would keep an eye on her and wait until the gestation period is over. Just incase, make sure that she has some soft bedding and make sure that you keep the noise down as much as possible to reduce stress. I am actually in a similar situation at the moment so understand the stress! Try to make her as comfy as possible without getting in her way and good luck!
