The Ketzinicos
Our latest litter of Custard baby hamsters was born on 13th September. Dad is our banded Cinnamon, Custard's Nico and mum is a lovely LH Cinnamon Tristar Ketzia. Ketzia has been a great mum and looked after her babies well. There are 10 pups and at 17 days all eyes are open. There is one very tiny pup who has suffered a difficult birth and has lost an ear. He's feisty but very, very tiny so his future is guarded. We have named him Vincent They are all beautiful and it looks like we have 5 boys and 5 girls. I'll update on their progress here.

Re: The Ketzinicos
Congratulations to Nico and Ketzia. Stunning litter of pups. Good job Mum looking after them all. Love the name Vincent for the one eared baby! Glad the breeding line goes on at Custard.

Re: The Ketzinicos
The babies are doing well and eating us out of house and home. Little Vincent is still very frail and quite weak and we are trying to hand feed him a little but we don't think he is absorbing it. Still he is warm and cosy in the nest with mama and the others so nature will decide his path.
