Re: Pregnant Hamster ADVICE !!!
I'm a bit confused about where Peanut is going sorry! As far as reusing the bin that's fine if you give it a clean & air it out for a day or two.

Re: Pregnant Hamster ADVICE !!!
That should be fine, no way of knowing if she'll like it with asparagus or not though so if you can get a plain one it might be better. I had a quick browse on that site & they do the tinned chicken so they should have the plain one.

Re: Pregnant Hamster ADVICE !!!
The information given previously is not absolutely correct.
With DWARF hamsters it is quite possible to put the young sons in with their father and he may well accept them readily and live with them for a period of time till you find them pet homes. As long as the mother is happy the female pups can stay with her.
All males and females must be in separate groups.
I already said they do not need separated till three and a half weeks to four weeks.
You need to start asking around for people who would like to have them as pets.
You cannot keep all the pups as you have stated you do not have room for any more cages. You do need to have an emergency bin on hand in case of fighting when you need to separate urgently.
The pups deserve new homes where they can get the attention they need so start looking now.
I would suggest you keep one female so she can live with mum and one male who can live with dad if you must. You must not breed these ever remember as they are too related. Any hamster living alone will be just fine and will become much more friendly with you as a pet so don't worry about keeping them alone.

Re: Pregnant Hamster ADVICE !!!
15 days is far too young for them to be away from mum! As Souffle says, wait until 3 and a half to 4 weeks.
Also, please do not put Mum and Dad living together again or they will breed. At her age and just having had a litter, it would be dangerous for Cinnamon to have another. Plus, since they are probably hybrids, you should not have bred them in the first place and definitely not for a second time.
Forgot that you have dwarves, sorry. Yes, you could have the females in with mum and the males with Dad. I'd be careful though, as even dwarves can fight. Keep an eye especially on dad with the boys, as he won't be used to them whereas mum will be used to her pups.
Also, that applaws is fine.

Souffle means that the pups should not be allowed to mate together (and oh yest they WILL mate together - they don’t care about incest!) because it is not healthy to mate related hamsters.

Re: Pregnant Hamster ADVICE !!!
Your hams would mate but as they are so closely related there would be a high risk of health problems, genetic abnormalities & possible deaths, so take souffles advice & be sure that none of them have a chance to mate ever.
As souffle said the dad & pups may well be fine together but do still be prepared for any falling out, I think when you don't have much experience with hams it may be easier to keep them apart but that's up to you.

Hey Today my pups will turn 2 weeks, I have a question about the wheel, when should I return the wheels back to the cage.
