Re: The H-16 litter with eyes wide open
Thanks everyone for the wonderful words of kindness. The H-16 litter are now 5 weeks old and the Satin Ghost melanistic Yellow Band boy has went on to his wonderful Pet home, and I have 3 people making that final decision on the other pups. I'm pretty sure we shall all be able to follow the life of the pup already rehomed but am letting his new owners break the NEWS on here
Godiva actually pouted when I weaned her from her pups, but is now back to being her naughty Torty self by trashing a water bottle which was in a chew guard holder
Here are the last photos I have taken on their 5th week Celebration
The male runt who is not so runty now and is completely healed from his Upper Respiratory Infection and ready to make someone a happy Hamster owner.
He is a Cream carrying Melanistic Yellow Banded Dominant Spot and his only coloring is on his face and ears.
Him in my hand looking like a pure white hamster because of the light.
The Cream carrying Yellow Banded Female who is a good size, but not a good prospect for breeding because of the Cream in her Yellow.
She is giving me a wee present in this photo but it shows her markings and was the only clear focus pic of her left side.
Her right side
Next is the best for size and type of the litter but sadly would not be good for breeding because she is a Ghost Yellow Band. Cream is not desired in Yellow and she has two genes for cream and two for Yellow. She'll make some pet owner very happy.
She has almost a perfect band too.
However could anyone say no to this face?
You all saw a few photos of the Ghost Melanistic Yellow satin Band male so I'll only place up one of him.
And last is my Keeper though his Dominant Spot pattern is far far from perfect. He has a wonderful personality already and is not photogenic in the least bit at this age. He is a Satin Black Dominant Spot which was exactly what I was hoping to get with this breeding. It will be unknown if he carries for cream until he is bred, but the prayers are he is cream free.
Look at those ears.
