New Start for Yellow Line!
I'm posting because I am excited about a new litter which is due tomorrow.
I have had a line of pedigree Syrian hamsters for five years, aiming towards Yellows the entire time, but with limited success because I kept finding that the only hamsters I could find to add in carried cream, rust, etc - so I have had many many torts, honeys, melyels and ghost versions of all these but rarely got an actual agouti yellow.
However! I have just got a new hamster - originally from Blue Rose Hamstery but kindly passed on from Norwood Hamstery - and mated her to another Blue Rose hamster who lives at Norwood, so hopefully this should be a new line of Yellow hamsters that are actually Yellow...
Mum is named Rumba, she is a melyel.
Dad is called Mambo, he is a Yellow DomSpot and also a satin.
I am hoping for melyels, yellows and domspot versions of both, some to be satin.

How exciting for you. I await the results of this breeding.
