My very first litter :D
I've been planning on breeding hams for well over a year and finally sorted my prefix in December. I've had Chinese before but got my very first Pedigree Chinese at the MHC Christmas show, a beautiful little Dom Spot called Acacia.
Doric Hamstery very kindly loaned me a very handsome Dom Spot Boy who were paired up 20th last month.
They fell out after 1 1/2 weeks together and Acacia looked decidedly pear shaped a few days ago.
I got back from Chacombe hamster show yesterday and she still looked ready to pop and looked extremely fed up.
This morning she's looking more like her tiny self, has been racing between the nest, water bottle and food and I heard some little squeaks the first time I saw her go back to the nest
So excited to have my first litter. Can't wait to see them tumbling out of the nest in a couple of weeks ^_^

Re: My very first litter :D
That's great she was successful in birthing a litter! Dominant spot is my favorite! Hope all the babies turn out to be real cuties!

Congrats, that's lovely to hear
Hope we get to see them when they're old enough, my heart is melting already at the very thought of more Chinesey babies lol!

Re: My very first litter :D
Thank you everyone ^_^ I'm so nervous for her lol and it's so hard knowing I won't see them for almost 2 weeks but they'll definitely be worth the wait
I'm hoping for a sneaky BEW but whatever I have I'll be over the moon about
