Default Genetics (Extreme Dilute & Dark Eared White)

Hello, another quick question relating to genetics. If anyone has any insight, I'd be much obliged. Unlike rats, mice and dogs, there seems to be a distinct lack of data to be drawn from, and so I have found myself at a blank, again.

When discussing the 'C' loci in relation to the Syrian hamster, there appears to be two presently identified alternate alleles from the wild type (Extreme Dilute & Dark Eared White?).

I'm unable to find any discussion on how these alleles display phenotypically if a pup was born to a parent homozygous for Extreme Dilute when the second parent is homozygous for Dark Eared White. The pups would obviously obtain an allele of either, but how does this express when genetically 'cdce'? Does one recessive allele take dominance over the other, or is there some degree of blending?

Regards and thanks, Crice

c(e)c(d) hamsters are beautiful IMHO
The Homo c(e) Black Hamster is a dark brown almost the same shade as a Chocolate but the ears give it away that it is a ED as they are Black not Brown.

I have only bred Black ED hamsters so can only show you my Het and Homo ED Black Hamsters.

Here is Abednigo who was a Satin Homo ED Black SH carrying LH

This is Shakinah who was a Heterozygous ED Black who also carried Cinnamon

and this little boy is one of their Heterozygous ED Black pups at 3 weeks old
