ive got a dove female
and a black longhaired male im getting him tomorrow, im hoping to breed them two in the future and im in bracknell united kingdom really want to meet breeders near me or breeders even just somewhere in the uk !

So the both have the black gene there for pups should be black as black is more dominate but they will be carrying other colours in there gene pool which if compatible will produce other colours which you will find out from there pedigree also the long haired gene is recessive so only half of the litter will be long haired if lucky that's if both parents carry the lh gene, that of course is very rough

The more important question is what are your goals for breeding? Breeding shouldn't be about the cuteness of the babies, but about having good goals. What would those be for you?
Also, you'll want to have a good thorough read of the River Road Hamstery genetics section. It's the best info out there on Syrian genetics. Here is the link: Syrian Hamster Genetics
