Default rather mad, yet impressed.

So, When I had my litter of syrians back in august I gave a female to a friend. Turns out she bred her without telling me first. so she was bred wayyyy too young and to a pet shops ham she ended up with 11 babies. Well they're ready to go. she found homes for most but still has a few left. She is having a hard time selling them so I called the only pet shop around here that I knwo of that takes care of the animals, feeds houses and handles them properly. I asked them if they would be able to take a couple if I provided cages until they go as I know they don't have a lot of space. He said they prefer not to before Christmas with small animals. I was confused so I asked why. He said because they don't sell the pets, they ask for a donation to a local animal charity that people get them on a whim without really knowing anything about them. A week later they come back in to bring it back. But they will for sure take a couple after the holidays. Never did I think I would ever hear this from a pet shop. ))))))
