Breeding chinese dwarfs

I have been looking for some info on the net, but all I can seem to find is that breeding chinese dwarfs is difficult, I can find no reasons why or what the problems are.

Can anyone offer any suggestions for what the problems and difficulties are?

Also is there a minimum age they should be before breeding?

i wouldn't recommend breeding them under 3 months, however i do start pairing them up at about 10 weeks in split cages, even if they are paired at 10 weeks i find they don't ussually breed till they are about 5 months.

Hi, i just got my hamster book out lol
It says that it is hard to introduce male and females that are older than 8 weeks, and chinese tend to breed when they want to not when you want the to lol, there can be big time gaps between litter.
Im guessing your 2 chosen breeding hamsters dont live together?
