Leave the boys with mum till they are 28 days, it really is the best option for their healthy development, and is standard when raising robo pups. I have only ever separated once as early as you are thinking, and that was as there was an emergency operation needed for mum, otherwise I would never consider it. Dad will be fine even if he is bored, introduce him carefully to his sons once they are 28 days

I agree with the pompoms. However, I once took a litter of six out at 24 days because the mother gave birth to a second litter when the older pups turned 24 days old. I was concerned for the newborn pups if they had to contend with older siblings. I kept an eye on the first litter and they did very well, but maybe I could have left them in with mom and new pups, not sure. Dad was already out because mom became quite aggressive when the first litter was born. I didn't introduce the pups to him though and he went on to live very happily on his own.

Best of luck; I really enjoyed raising those two litters! I could not believe how tiny they were at that three weeks old! Photo attached...
