Pups are born with tiny teeth and will usually start munching on small seeds with soft hulls (like millet, flax, or grass seeds) around 1 week old. You can scatter your usual hamster mix around the nest now and they will begin to eat them. They won't be able to break the hard shells or large grains yet, but they will eat what they can and slowly work their way trying everything out.
