14 day old hamster pups development
Hi I am just checking that my pups are developing right, there now 14 days, there is 8 left out of 12 so we must of lost some along the way. The ones that are left have all got their fur, but their eyes arnt open just yet, their mother is still feeding them like they were new born,they don't eat the baby food and struggle with cucumber and carrot, but I think because mother hamster is still feeding them they must be ok, right? They are taking the food I sprinkle in the nest they are wandering around but most don't leave the nest yet, but they are wiggling and pushing each other. I was going to change the cage today but im not sure as mammy hamster is still protective of them, and because they are reluctant to leave the nest.
