If you think she is pregnant then take the wheel out now and also that little house because it is way to small for a litter and no doubt she will choose that as her nursery!! Newspaper is not great for hammies either as the ink can stain them and not great as they pouch things and can ingest it.
That hamster does have some signs of bagginess under the armpits so she may well be expecting. If you can get a cardboard box like a cat food pouches box cut the bottom out or half a shoe box size that makes a nice sized nest for a litter. Give loads of plain white loo roll ripped up for nesting in. Start feeding some extras like porridge and boiled egg bits plus some veg but only a little bit each day as you don't want to upset her tummy.

Ok thanks. She has lots of white loo roll, just the paper is left from when she was 'delivered' to me, hadn't thought to remove it. Will take that and the wheel out now. Will look for a box...

Oh my poor little ones.

Right, I have taken the wheel out and the nespaper and little house and replaced with a cardboard box.

Feel bad, I do think she had been making a nest, I only put that box in last night, it came with a donation and she had properly dug herself in there.

Gosh another pups might be popping out! You are going to need all the help you can get advice and other things. Where are you based ? I have loads of spare things as my only hammy is extra spoiled and never had time to use all the things I've got her!

I am near Manchester.
Your lucky hamster!

Currently hiding in my room. So I don't disturb the hamsters. Not quite how I imagined my evenings at my age!

I have another hamster in a ludicrous cage, more mouse cage. Tall with tubes etc. what should I do? Block everything off for now? The bed is at the top of a big tube and I would worry if she had babies that they may fall down or get attached to her and fall.

(This isn't the photographed hammy by the way)
In fact, I may move some hamsters to different rooms, just incase as I won't want to if they have babies.

*tiptoes back downstairs*

Times like these I wish I didn't trip over everything haha! Like a baby elephant!

Aw I live in the south otherwise I'd drop off some stuff for your babies. I've no idea about hamster babies but I have sixth sense telling me that mother to be housed in one level habitat within easy reach of water and food with loads of fresh bedding as you won't be able to change the bedding some time.
I really really wish you the best of luck and good of you giving those poor hamsters caring home

Thanks though, was kind of you to offer.
Is it possible, or incredible cruel, to swap two hamsters houses?

I have a female in a ludicrous tall cage and would like to swap her into a single story cage which makes are in, just in case she is expecting.

It is late, I am trying not to disturb current mum and babies. A full clean out isn't practical right now, I know it sounds selfish. She doesn't look pregnant (neither did Elizabeth though). But if I leave it till tomorrow and she has babies then I can't really move her.

I'd say swap them around with everything belong to them as they'll still have their smell around them. Otherwise pups was born in tall narrow cage and stay there week after week will be the cruel thing. But is my personal opinion though.

You need to move her out the tall cage especially if she is nesting up on the top level as the pups will fall off the nest or down the tube. It isn't safe for them as they come out and toddle around blind and would fall off the edge. Tubes are not a good idea as they get too hot and stuffy in them and can get ill.
Either a large plastic storage bin or swap her into the other cage. It is stressful to move them at this stage however it is a risk you need to take in case she has babies.
What a pickle you are in
Everything is crossed for you and that at least some are not pregnant.
