Last few days it's been quite sterssful for me. Luckly, CroHamtsery is soon welcoming some new cuddles. Peanut, my 4 1/2 months old breeding Sapphire Winter White is about to give birth. She was mated with Sheldon (6 months old), Sapphire Winter White, so I expect only Sapphires in this litter. This is my very fist litter ever (not counting one time that Bella, my other WW, gave birth and bumped off all of her pups). Peanut is doing great,she enjoys her nutrition high diet and was really energetic past few days and this evening she is really calm, she made a birthing nest inside her hut and spends alot of time preparing herslef for babies that will arrive any hour now. I listened really carefully but did not succeed to hear any noise of any kind from her hut. Hopefully she will give birth and raise this litter with no complications.

oooh this isnt fair I would love a Winter White, but no where on wirral is there any breeders of them, pity you are so far away lol good luck with the pups

No babies just yet. But todays is weighing friday and Peanut is currently at 44 grams, a lot more then her usual 31 grams. She was really bad last night and chewed through her water bottle. Very bad girl.

BABY HAMMIES HAD ARRIVED! Sometim last night/this morning Peanut gave birth to undefined number of pups.
I was giving her a egg white and she didn't even peek out of her hut. I listened really carefully and heared hamster baby squeaking noise.
CroHamstery's A litter by Peanut and Shelodn was deliverd on February 10th 2013.

Well congratulations on new babies! I can't wait until they are able to have pics taken. Now they just need to grow up enough for us to meet them.
