I can assue you not a single penny is made, these little babies eat you through house and home! So much time also needs to be devoted to raising them.

I would also get two hamsters from a breeder if you are definitely serious, but you need to take months to do your research and then make your mind up it is definitely not something to enter into lightly.

I've had one litter of only 7 (the mother was a rescue and was pregnant when she came to us) and I agree 100% with this!

That's great to read, and a responsible attitude. Spend as long as you can on your research, ask as many questions as you need, and give yourself plenty of time before you decide. breeding should never be rushed, the health of the hamsters and potential babies come above everything else.

I'm glad your doing more research. If you do decide to breed please use some responsibly sourced and pedigree hamsters from a breeder, because if you use your current hamsters there may be genetic problems you were not aware of.
