Re: Plop has had Ploplets
Update.. I have the other two hamsters with me now eating scrambled egg.. One is a little boy who is going to K.D and the other is a pregnant female who is also going with K.D who has very kindly offered to foster them as two litters is a lot for me.
Plop is doing great and scoffing like a little horse. she take breaks from the pups in her sand tray then goes straight back to them..
I have a photo of Plops sister

Re: Plop has had Ploplets
I am so glad I have them here, My mum has sold the cage on gumtree
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/5 ... AA300_.jpg
My mum also took their wooden house to sell leaving them without anything.. grrrr
What I have only just found out is that they advertised both hamsters too with this cage for a tenner!!! I saw it on gumtree a sec ago
Also I am happy to say we have a home for Plop herself

Re: Plop has had Ploplets
Awww welcome to the little pink wrigglers, and so glad to hear Plop is doing well with them. So glad you have good homes and foster homes for everyone, I love it when you know hams that haven't had the easiest of starts have a life time of love and good care to look forward to

Re: Plop has had Ploplets
Just letting everyone know that we're home from quite a long day (I had an 8 hour work shift before we picked up the hams). Our little lad is called Peep Bumbleham and he's settling into a cage nicely, currently climbing on some wooden logs. Photos and an intro will appear soon - either tonight or tomorrow.
I also filmed his sister for a bit and will edit that into something worth watching when I get time over the next few days.
Basically - Was just letting you know that both the other two are now safely with us, in Peeps case permanently, and in his sisters case until she's ready to be rehomed and a home is found.

Re: Plop has had Ploplets
lol yes, the likely Dad of the litters is called Peep Bumbleham Womblehands kindly named him for us. It'd be awesome if you named a ham Peep too
We're calling the other female Petree for now, and we're as sure as we can be that she had her litter during the night. I'll start a thread for her litter when there's much to be said about them (They're being called the Peeplets after Peep since he's likely a parent too and his name is permanent whereas Mums name is unlikely to be permanent)
