Help! My baby had babies

thank you for the advice all of you. I have brought the other hamster to three spots and all say female. She has nipples and her other anatomy looks identical to momma's. But, I have noticed that she is now acting as if she were pregnant. I know i wrote how I bought the hamsters a couple weeks ago. well, I bought the first one, now a momma, then 4 days later the sister. They were from the same litter and the pet store still had the momma in with them. So, is it possible that the sister is about to birth as well? I have not seen the sister or auntie come out and play for two days. I checked on her by having to turn on a brighter light in the room and had to look closely in the nest to see her there. she does come out at night and drink endless amount of water. AHHH!!! sorry, just trying to figure this out so I know what is going on. If she births i feel safer this time since i know they are in a better cage and the other babies arent too much older so I feel better in the odds of the pups not eating the newborns. maybe she is just a really good auntie. thanks again

Sounds like the pet store doesn't know how to sex hamsters....not uncommon and why so many people get mad at pet stores pretending to know basic info but really have no clue-grrr.

Your other hamster could certainly be pregnant since you have another from the same place that was pregnant. It's even likely.

Just give her lots of nesting material and a nice hidey so she's ready if she does give birth.

She may well be pregnant or has actually given birth herself. The two females may raise all the babies as a group between them. If the number of babies has increased you will know if there are two litters though as I said the other female could have started producing milk if the pups suckle at her! You will need to just wait and see and give them lots of peace and quiet and good food.
