Question About Female's Behaviour Towards Male

Cwtch has been displaying some peculiar behaviour towards Tatty and I don't know if its normal or not. I notice that she (Cwtch) often tries to climb up on top of Tatty as if mating and she will run behind him sniffing at his bottom and following all the behaviours typical of what I would expect from a male ham rather than a female. It also seems to be most days not just when she is on heat. Any suggestions as to why this is?

So far Tatty seems uninterested in mating with her and it just makes me wonder if A. this is her trying to get his attention, B. Neither really know what to do (I've heard this isn't uncommon with two hams who have never mated before) or C. Something completely different.

Any Ideas?

I have heard that this can be a dominance behaviour erin. Perhaps she is just putting him in his place and once they have established the pecking order and she is happy with it then they will mate?

Hmm, I didn't consider that Souffle thanks! It's odd it didn't cross my mind as I have seen all of my other same sex pairs do it as part of showing their dominance. I know for a fact Cwtch is the more dominant of the two so this may just be the case.
