Update: so on tuesday i notices all 6 babies had their eyes open ! so today i touched them for the first time eeeeek! they are so cute it was so hard to control my giggles! they are fast and squirmy too so we didn't play long. I tired my hand at sexing but didnt go very well i think i need to do some more reading the subject. I let Blue take a well deserved break and play in her ball while i moved everyone to a new home! I got a better cage i knew i would need a second soon anyone so i used some of the old nest bedding and old stored food in the new cage so it would still smell like home and so far everyone seems to be loving it. Blue is a little tense and freaked out which worries me but im sure she will adjust soon. I guess i cant figure out how to add pictures lol

Wonderful Lori, I hope Blue has settled down again after the clean, perhaps give her a little space again so she knows she and the babies are safe. They sound adorable, do you have a photobucket account? If so you can upload pics there, then just copy the image link and paste it

Update: my little heart is breaking i separated males from females today and mommy is going crazy looking for her little boys and her wee boys seem scared without her! i am not very good at this i just want to cry i feel so awful! 2 boys and 4 girls.. not sure im right with sexing but the two boys seemed obviously different from the girls i will check again tomorrow. Also the little one who i have always thought was just slow... seems to have a broke paw.. or deformed paw? something off about it im not sure what exactly but that is also making me sad

Oh Lori, don't worry, I was exactly the same when I separated my first litter. Mum will settle down again with the girls, and the boys will be ok, they will look after each other.

Keep an eye on the little one, if you want to post pics here should the paw not be getting any better. Babies can often have an issue, sometimes from being born, sometimes while in the nest, sometimes when they're tiny mum over grooming a little. They are so delicate that they can be damaged. my Whizzbit has a severed facial nerve that he came out the nest with, he could have been made that way, or it just could have happened.

If your little one is getting about ok, doing all the hamstery things they should be doing, and adjusting well you have nothing to worry about. If they are in distress or struggling too much then you'll need to investigate further.
