well that would be an interesting thread - I do have an uncle who is 18 months younger than me, and apparently I was once caught feeding him worms! (to be clear it was the best part of 40 years ago - I havent done that for a while!!)
I remember when I was a kid, finding birds that had fallen out of nests and trying to raise them through to release. The weaker ones were always *so* special.
Hope the raising of this little one goes well...
...when you have pics, it'd be great to see him. Did I miss the name you've given him? I'll call him Dak (= little one) til you think of one.
it is sad to watch this but most litters have a baby like this - often they don't make it but they do surprise you more frequently and grow to be the same size as all their siblings eventually
