Update on Gravy's Litter
Well The babies have hair. They all look like they'll be cream. There are 9. I counted 11 a few days ago so I'm not sure what happened. But she's doing great. I know I promised pics, but the camera is lost at the moment.

Cant wait to see pictures! Glad they are doing well. Maybe there were originally just nine. I breed gerbils and I know sometimes its hard to distinguish a new body from another pups head or butt: P

Well there were 11 the other day. She let me touch them today. I was so excited. And they're starting to wander around. It's so cute. I feel sorry for her having to keep nine babies in the nest. I remember how hard it was for my rat (she had 9 also). I've seen two babies out of the nest and both are cream banded just like dad.

It is not unusual for babies to disappear like that, even this far into the rearing process, in fact the day before I am due to remove the boys (normally around 21 - 28 days old) I can find one or more have completely vanished....
