Hamster Breeders in Toronto?

I've always wanted a breeder hamster, since all of my current ones are either rescues or pet shop. I've never really heard of a breeder up here in Canada, so I thought asking here would be my best option.

I'd be willing to wait sometime, and also be willing to drive.

Good question i was trying to find a breeder here in Canada for our next hamsters and came up empty handed ..

There are a few to my knowledge. The breeder I went with for Boo is getting out of the hobby now, but I am going to ask her for names for down the road. Will pass it on when I hear back. A good way to find them is oddly kijiji. It takes A LOT of weeding through, but its one of the only ways breeders here can advertize. The key is finding ones with proven lineages and papers. Another way is if you know a reputable pet shop that uses hobby breeders you can ask them, but again it takes a lot of looking around. The woman that the pet shop I worked at used and I used has a brand new littler if anyone is interested. Also still has some of Boo's siblings. The woman is great

I live about an hour from toronto, I am not a registered breeder but all of my hamsters come from breeders. I am retiring a coulple females and looking for some young ones, but I can't find any breeders. I was wondering if any of you had found anything?

Which direction are you from Toronto? And eh, the pickings are more than a little slim at the moment, Boo's breeder just retired the last of her lot, and she was the only one I trusted

Oh ok lol, I'm from the GTA myself, but I'm at school living in Sudbury. I'll ask around about breeders near Niagara falls

thank you. There is a breeder near Scarborough but they let their babies go at like 3 or 4 weeks so I'm not overly enthusiastic about them. So I've been looking. but thanks :P

Jessie, are your hamster from breeders in Ontario? If so can you tell me because I have been wanting to get a female in a year or so.
I live In Ottawa.
