Thanks for the lovely comments. Babies are hard work but a real pleasure when all goes well. Raven's loving living alone again - and with no-one to steal the chicken! The boys are still chilled out, though the girls are squeaking a bit. I lent my spare small bin cage to a friend for a scared rescue chin so they are in a larger cage than I usually separate babies into so that may be why. I'll keep an eye on them; ideally it would be nice for them to stay together a bit longer if possible. And yes, I am breeding Syrians I hope my dark grey girl is in heat tomorrow!

The Rasils are now 5 weeks old and the first little man has gone to his new home with the second boy leaving tomorrow. I can't believe how big they've got now! The girls are still living together without too much bother.

Younr017 - my Syrian litter is due on 16th August. I'll put them their own thread up (as well as one for my other Chinese litter) when I'm sure things are going to plan.

Please, if you could. I want a chinesey but I am still having trouble deciding where to put a fourth cage. Chinesey pics are most welcome

Hehe, exciting news.
I can't tell if i'm glad or hate the fact that I pretty much live where there are no breeders ¬.¬ xD

This is Persil now:

My little Rasil girl is yet to reveal her name to me, but I already have a hubby in mind for when she's big enough.

I have never had chinese dwarf hamsters. Can you tell me - are chinese hamsters quicker than other dwarf hamsters?
