Message from a repentant Teresa....
Okay, I will stop it now! Well as you can see we mated our BEC SH beauty Bronte to our dark-grey SH boy Grey-ham on Friday night. Things seemed to go well and pups should be expected on 9th March. we would expect a litter of goldens carrying cream and dark grey, although it is possible as both could be carrying cinnamon, that a cinnamon pup will also appear!
I'm a bit worried as, unless my eyes are deceiving me, Bronte's tummy already has a little more of a bulge and it is normal to not notice any difference until about day 10 of pregnancy (maybe she just ate too much wedding cake!)

Ha! I can't get Smartie to reply to either her dad or sis at the moment - she's been a little bit ...er...busy
I think it went ok and I think *touch wood* we may well be hearing the patter of tiddy widdy feet soon
I was going to take pics of the actual mating but couldn't quite bring myself to - luckily, Teresa, you've done it for us all :P
Bronte looks MASSIVE compared to Grey-Ham

Yes she is bless her, 196g when I weighed her a couple of nights ago - I worried about Grey-ham being a bit small but apparently dark greys tend to be small and take longer to grow - Sheryl was optimistic he would reach a normal size eventually! He was 134g on 5th Feb, should weigh him again soon!
Glad everything went okay with Smartie and Toby, hopefully that pitter patter of feet will be heard in both our houses (and of course Gill's and Matty's shortly).

I'm keeping everything crossed for us all!
It's kind of nice having others going through it too (hark at me anyone would think it was me having the babies ).

Congratulations to all the sets of humans and hamsters involved in the various matings. I'm keeping everything crossed for all of you
Now everyone else has also got to start their own diaries!

Bronte
Arrrrrrgh....that is it. I officially disown you. What do you think this is 'Playham' I never though I'd see it. A daughter of mine flaunting herself in public.

Bronte is in tears, and it is not good for her in her condition, so i thought I would make a plea to Paws on his daughter's behalf.
I'm very sorry for taking the photo, but wish to stress that this is not an actual 'playham' photo, this was a courting photo, with Grey-ham just telling Bronte how much he loved her, rather than being a 'honeymoon' photo in the truest sense. Caramel brought Bronte up better than that!
Bronte has made me delete some of the photos as she said these were 'inappropriate' and 'made her look like she had a double chin'. So apologies to Paws again.

Are we all supposed to make our own diary or is it going to be a giant joint effort like last time?
I mated Truffle & Balou last night so if we get babies they will be born the same day as Holly's.
I did take some photos I was thinking of using for my website but my youngest son (Catholic School educated) saw them and told me I need to say some 'Hail Mary's' for taking photos like that.
