Re: Holy cow what a smell.....
Are some colours more prone to smelling during their cycle than others? I only ask because I very, very rarely notice a smell from Cooks.

It's probably more like us women, we all have different types of periods (some heavy, some light) so Cooks could just be a very light hamster?

Buttons is in a Ovo now which she loves but I find a bit of a pest but heck it was given to me so cant complain, now I am having trouble with Sephy who chewed a zz1 to bits and escaped last night, he is now in Buttons loft seperated of course but chosing a new cage for him is ....problematic.

Re: Holy cow what a smell.....
There is a metal cage you can buy with a metal base for syrians. It's as heavy as hell and is wired but it is the alcatraz of hamster cages. The wire base doesn't have to be used, nor does the shelf, but that will require plyers to remove. It is called the Critter 1 cage and the base is a little bigger than a zz1.
