Just last week a new pet store opened up about 5 minutes from my house. I went to check it out and unfortunetly they do not sell carefresh or the food that I get for Latte. They only had 2 hamsters in store and they were locally bred hammies. She did not get the person's information though. She did say that she is looking for people who breed them locally and I am considering breeding them for this store. The hammies she has were somewhat like mine but they were grey and white.

And I will not be doing it for the money because I know there is almost no profit after I house and feed them. Although of course I will not be giving them away for free. But rather, I will be breeding them to supply people with healthy, tame and beautiful hamsters. I am considering taking a weekend trip to somewhere that has pedigree hammies. Any where in the Western side of the world, preferably east coast?

I went to the new pet store by my house today and spoke to the manager. I asked if he is able to get hamsters with a pedigree and he said yes, however, one hamster cost over $200 and I would need two. So, for now, or until I can find somewhere cheaper, I will not be breeding. Oh, and I also applied for a job there. Waiting paitently for a call.

He gets his hamsters from a place in California. He said he got 12 long haired syrians on Wednesday morning and they were all sold by closing time (7pm) the same day. I guess people waited until there was a pet store closer to home to get a hamster. I know that I will be going there from now on for my bedding. It's very soft and inexpensive. Because the shavings are smaller they can put more in the bag. and it only goes for about $12. It looks like it will last about a month, maybe more.

Hamsters goes fast around here also.

When Percival's litter went up for pre-sale, the little was pre-bought in like 20 minutes.

And the morning we picked them up it was first come first serve (You could pick him if you were there first) and there were three people in front of me and I was there 30 minutes early!

Wow!! That's crazy. I have A.D.H.D. so waiting is not my strong suit. I think if it was me I would be hamsterless if I had to wait half an hour for one.
