Exclamation *WARNING* "Think Before You Breed" Video

This was one of my mini projects to do after watching a lot of videos on Youtube displaying poorly bred deformed hamsters. I decided to use Pippy's condition as a sort of case study/plea like they do on the RSPCA adverts to show people outside of HC who may not know the dangers of breeding hamsters randomly. I would like to share the finished result with HC too though and to say thank you Hamster Central from myself and on behalf of everyone who has come through here for everything this site has taught about the importance of good breeding and also thank you to everyone who has been there through all of Pippy's ups and downs. I am proud to say her days are getting easier now and she has made amazing progress in the last 4 months, maybe one day I will be able to cuddle her again like I did the very first day I met her.

Here is the video guys, even if only a few people outside of HC watch if it makes a difference to one person, to one hamster then it was worth it.

Poor dear Pippy, this made me cry I love your little girl, and I hope she'll be okay for much longer than her second birthday! <3

Not many things make me get tearful, but this did. Well done for making this video I think a lot of people could learn from it!

It was that music! I muted it near the end, coz I'm in uni and couldn't stop the tears! I really hope that people listen to it. Is it okay if I link it on my facebook?

I totally think "Think before you breed" could be a moto. Like "Safety first" or "Stop, look, listen, live".

I feel really bad, I wasn't aware Pippy was that bad. *hugs to you* for helping her through it.

That's heartbreaking.

But if anything it's things like this that really hit the message home to people. I should do one about Snickers' condition as that's genetic too.

You should hun. You could do it as a response to Erin's vid? I think it'd help. Like Erin says, even if just one person listens to it.

This made me so sad. Do you mind if I pop this on my LiveJournal? Coincidentally I was ranting today on their about poor hamster care, and I would like to follow up with this.

Pippy is such a beautiful girl, and that was an amazing, thought provoking video <3

I didn't know the average life span was 2 1/2 - 3 years
Gizmo was a pure bred WW and she lived to 21 months.., and she had no health problems at all..<3
