Yes I expect it is unfortunately
I massage Treo daily and brush him to help with the itching and to remove dead skin. But the mites occasionally 'take advantage' of the fact he can't manage them like other hamsters and he gets really bad dandruff or looses fur.

Hes been a lot better after his last mite treatment from the vets Just got to keep treating him when they take effect.

I was mainly worried about all of the pressure on his single back leg. I just hope nothing does happen that requires alot of handling as he gets so stressed. He's calmed down alot but I just leave him to do his own thing tbh.

Sure thing. we should make a "Think before you breed" series! Also type in sad violin or sad piano onto youtube (if you have the youtube downloader) and there are hundreds of sad classical song. Thats where I found mine. Just remember the music is key to hitting the heart strings. If you find the perfect one you will know because it gets you somewhere inside. Its a bitter sweet thing.
