Well, I've put her in the Rody just now - and she hasn't been off the Rolly wheel since
|
She's going to fit right in with the rest of the hamsters here then!

I guess she can't be that tiny as she's really too big for the Rolly at 6 weeks - now if she, Cara, Kitty, Smartie and No-Name would all put on a bit of fat, I'd be happy!
|
Well she's got gorgeous parents and she looks lovely in her photos (whichever one of the 3 she is) so I know I am going to absolutely love her.
We are all ready for her arrival now. She has a gabber rex waiting and she will have the lilac wodent wheel to run and run on!

But he's young and a fighter, so thanks for all your thoughts, and I'm sure soon that I will be nagging him about leaving his shoes and jacket all over in the hall as normal!

I LOVE Milky Bar!
We have decided to call No-Name Milky Bar.....souffle, hope you don't mind but I'm going to call her Milly for short....but only because we'll use the Barbie/Bar thing next time - I've been dying to call one Star Bar but couldn't think of a shortened nickname to go with it!
And here's Milky Bar aka Milly herself, all settled into her Imac:
We now only have two babies left who aren't staying with us permanently: Bronte and Button.
For Teresa, here's one of Bronte taken tonight:
And his one of Patrick, my nephew giving a cuddle to his new hammy Button:

Ahhhh its my baby. She is so beautiful, although i have to say that from that photo she looks as though she is a real scamp too
Tell her we have her new home all ready and that we can't wait for her to join us. Tell her I can't wait to
love her
and pet her
and kiss her
and stroke her
and tickle her
and cuddle her
(actually better not - she'll change her mind about coming to us! )

Aww she looks very happy in there does young Millie. Is she still the same Millie as when we came down Holly? Bronte looks adorable too. Bet you are having a more relaxing time now Holly with most of the babies happily settled. You do miss them though.
Naploleon is now a massive 91g today.
He has put on 7g in 2 days.
His coat is getting longer too and requires more styling these days but he does OK on the carefresh without tangling so far. We will post some pics when PH gets some free time as she is so busy with homework just now.

Spud's Mum - glad you like the look of her and you are right, she is a scamp! Tonight she's moved everything in her cage - and I had it looking so neat last night
Souffle - I'm so glad Napoleon is doing well and seems to be growing well (Basia and I were talking on Saturday about how they all seem to have growth spurts at differnt times). It's great that he's still ok on the Carefresh but, once his adult coat comes in, you might find Aubiose and tissue paper helpful - we've been using that with Rolo for several weeks and he hasn't had any tangles. With Lymm approaching he looks a lot better than he did with the last show approaching!!!

I know it's been a while - both since my babies were born and since anyone posted here - but tonight feels like the end of an era for us: we finally separated Mars and Button into their own cages at the grand old age of 10 weeks.
They have never once got even mildly irritated with each other and seemed to be inseperable so I felt a bit mean doing it and I had to really convince Will that the time had finally come. For the next few days they are beside each other on the shelf then Button will go home with Patrick.
I can certainly see how a misinformed person might buy two Syrian brothers and think they are happy together - and that they will stay happy together

Oh you must feel quite sad Holly. But it is inevitable and the little boys have stayed together for a good long while! Tell Mars andButtons to be big strong boys from Auntie Butterbean and me!
I must admit to feeling a big pang to think of my latest litter going to new homes soon too. I have homes for 5 of them already and our pet shop have some pre-orders for people who they are happy to sell to (they are a really good pet shop).
They may not be BIS winning babies but I have absolutely adored having this lates litter, and they are all so lively and playful. There are some that look just like Mum and others who have Dad's sweet face and huge ears.
ohhh feel so sad myself now
