Re: Mini Pompoms!
Hehe Robos love a pile up!
Lilly is I think as good as could be expected today. She's alive, she's alert, she has eaten a little and she's resting well. I think that's the best I could hope for.
The babies are coping well. The two boys make me laugh, I was so worried about putting them in with Dasher and the older boys thinking they'd be overwhelmed. The little white one is stomping about as if he owns the place. He's currently in the middle of a seven robo on one flying saucer game and loving it
Daisy has welcomed the girls in, and although they are sticking together more and seem a little timid, they have snuggled down with the others, eaten with them and played with them too so all well so far.
It's Dasher who is the most overwhelmed, you can almost see him looking around thinking this is surely madness, i didn't sign up for this!!

Re: Mini Pompoms!
Awww!!! Sounds like the babies are settling in just fine thats good to hear! The little white one dare I say taking after if I remember correctly his grandfather? I'm looking forward to new picture updates once everyones settled. And oh poor Dasher, I'm sure he's wishing he could go back to his quiet uneventful, babyless life!
I'm really happy to hear Lilly is doing well, I'd been thinking of her all day, hoping she was healing and eating, and well just recovering as best she can. Myself, and all of my guys (hams, cat, and the SO) are sending loads of healing vibes her way, and hugs to you, as I'm sure you need them after all of this!

Re: Mini Pompoms!
Lol he is very much like his grandad, although fortunately without the chomping He got a telling off from uncle Dasher today, lets just say he's a little over enthusiastic in everything he does!! He's not actually meant to be away from mum yet still though so I think he's doing really well.
Here's the four or the five girls together, as you can see Lilly's babies are fine.
And the seven boys colony, you can just about see them all, the little white boy is tucked behind the wheel.

Re: Mini Pompoms!
Well, that's the second pompom breeding venture come to and end. It's been another amazing experience, beautiful babies, so much cuteness I could explode, and never a dull moment.
We did lose three little ones on the way, but we happily raised 13 lovely new robos, and fingers crossed will be contributing again to the continuation of the white line come next spring. When these beautiful babies start their breeding programs.
So from mini Minxie and Billy
to big Minxie and HUGE Billy....
Beautiful Daisy and The seven dwarfs.....
Rolo
Polo
Milo
Olly

Re: Mini Pompoms!
Tinka
Molly
Maisy
and finally Lilly's second litter.....
Archie
Lola
Rosa
Claude
Not all the babies have gone though, Rolo lives happily with Whizzbit where he spends most of his time following and grooming him, Billy is obsessed with Dasher, and as he's been with him since he was four weeks sees him as his dad really. Billy is going to be enormous, he's only three and a half months and is already 35g, with a lot of baby fluff left showing he has a lot of filling out left to do. I think he's going to over take Dasher. He's also the softest robo I have ever felt.
Lilly is staying with me too, after what she went through a couple of weeks ago there was no way I could let her go. Little Lola is staying with her, so I have four new permanent additions to the pompom hamily.
Thank you to everyone who has said such lovely things about the babies, who has been there for the lovely parts, and been so supportive for the really sad parts. It's been lovely to share it all with everyone on HC

Re: Mini Pompoms!
I feel lucky to have been able to do it to be honest Tammy, I'd never have thought my little white Juggernaut The Cloud would have led to all this when I first took him home!
I also know how lucky I am to be able to have a continuous line of hamsters related to my original two stretching into the future and to have two such fantastic breeders as yourselves nurturing them. Knowing there will be a little bit of Jam and The Cloud, Dasher, Whizzbit, now Rolo, Lola, Billy and Lilly in all my future hams is priceless.
I also love that there eventually are going to be so many mini pompoms out there for people to get as much out of as I do

Aw thank you Erin, there will be plenty of pompoms updates though. I might do a 30 days of thread when there is a spare month, and fill it with baby pics from all the litters I've had here
Rolo is called Rolo from when the whole litter lined up eating the millet, and all being Agouti's they looked like a tube of Rolos. He's the only Agouti staying from the seven gorgeous babies, so he's my last Rolo, and no I don't love anyone enough to give them my last Rolo
