Hamster wont run on new wheel

This is my first hamster and i’ve done a lot of research in the past about them. I was given my dwarf hamster from a friend who previously owned her and ive been upgrading her cage ever since. Ive had her for a bit over a week now and today i replaced her flying saucer with a 8.7 inch upright wheel. Since the change i did today she hasn’t even tried to run on it and im not sure if she even knows how. Shes been trying to escape and wall scaling here and there ever since and I can tell shes very stressed from not being able to run. What should I do?

maybe keep the saucer and the wheel (if there's space) until she figures it out
