I just tried to get the Rodipet toilet, but postage to the UK is double the cost of the item! Any recommendations for something similar I can get from within the UK?

A plastic corner toilet costs around £1.50 in a pet shop or a bit more online. Trixie makes them and should be available online.

I have seen a lot of people have that chamber hide. I got one from the site I linked above. I really like the things on that website.

I have seen the Trixie ones but they look massive and I don't think they'd fit in any room of his house.

They do them in different sizes for different rodents.

You could place one of those corner toilets in the corner outside his house with sand and pee'd on substrate in it to see if he'd come out of his house to use the toilet.

3 out of my 4 Syrians do and the other has the en suite. I've never used multichamber houses though and let them make their own domestic arrangements inside their houses.

On the trixie house you can actually knock the bottom off and pull any nails out if you have a hammer. Just do it gently, keep tapping each side and eventually it will pop out and the hide will stay intact. I did it on two of mine.

That's very useful to know, thank you!

I had to remove the tupperware tray last night as he'd been chewing it. I was amazed how much destruction he'd managed in a couple of days! I really hope the plastic doesn't make him ill :-/

On the plus side, while the tupperware was clearly annoying him, it made him start toileting in a different chamber of his hide, which is larger and has no floor. I did a spot clean yesterday but put a bit of the soiled bedding back in, hoping that he continues to toilet here as it's a much better place for it!
