Default how can i help a stressed hammy?

she has around 8 inches of bedding as well as toys and hides that i switch out often. she has two sand baths, but she still seems very stressed. she’s also been biting the support beams in her detolf. i hate seeing her like this and i’m not sure what i can do to make her more comfortable(

I think that problem may be you switching out her hides and toys. Hamsters scent things and can get very upset when we move or remove their things.

I would keep to a set up she likes and leave it well alone. You can switch toys in a playpen for out of cage time to make it interesting for her with different things to explore.

Also, make sure that her wheel and water bottle works ok.

Agree - they prefer things not to be moved. Also how often do you clean her out? Clean outs also stress them. Better to do partial cleans and not too often. A bit here, a bit there etc.
