Re: Won't Come Out of His House!
I don't know Mr Jabba should really be sleeping in his ball - there is no water, snackettes or much ventilation.
My last hamster used to get up and want to be out as soon as she heard me. She used to run to her door if I called her. When she escaped, when I called her, she ran out from behind the sofa, straight into my hand, twice.
With Chewy, he is like the chaps described here. I have to dismantle his house / poke his nest if I want to see him before 2am. He looks pretty hacked off when I poke the nest, but he puts his teeth away soon as he smells it's me and not some demon. I've tried lots to get him in a routine, but I've given up now - I just wake him when I fancy it, late evening, and let him snooze again after.
