Lola LOVES My Couch

Either I have a lazy scaredy cat hamster or a really tamed hamster. I put her on the couch and she runs right to the corner. I give her treats in the corner. She cleans herself in the corner and then she eventually falls asleep in the corner. One day she stayed with me on the couch from 630 in the morning until 330 in the afternoon. When I tried to pick her up to put her in her cage she dug her claws deep into the cushion she didn’t want to leave the corner

Now you are all probably going to say I’m crazy but she doesn’t run away on the couch. I can go to the bathroom and come back and she’s right where I left her in the corner. Tonight i cleaned her cage and went to refill her water bottle and get her more food. I came back and she was right in the corner. She doesn’t run away

We both fall asleep on the couch and when I wake up she’s either up in her corner looking at me or she’s still sleeping

She’s so cute I can’t stand it. I love my hamster to pieces.

Fancy a human and a hamster couch lover meeting up! Must be fate and you two are meant for each other.

Just keep in mind that hamsters can be unpredictable so she may decide to jump off the couch one day while you are asleep.

oh thats so cute, our Ralph doesnt stop for 2 seconds if I put him on the sofa he would running in all directions!! If I put him in his playpen he tries to climb the sides straight away! She sounds like our first hamster who would just stay put and even used to love playing in my daughters barbie house (the giant one) she would go up and down the stairs at a leisurely pace and would sit in the rooms and have a look about. She loved going to the roof terrace and peering over (we were ready for her in case she decided to go for it!) enjoy sofa surfing together
