19 month old dwarf going bonkers at night.....
I have a 18month old winter white dwarf. She has been a great hammie. Well behaved and great to be around until about a month ago. She has always been active at night(like all hammies) but recently she has been really super high strung. She will go up to her upper deck and prop herself up and lick the side of her glass case for hours. If I'm on night shift I let her out for play time when I get home for couple hours and she bounces off the walls and star gazes a good bit. Anyone have had issues like this in dwarfs that are older? She never acted like this before. She would run on wheel at night but not star gaze.

Hello,
What do you mean prop herself up? Do you mean she is just sat in the corner licking the glass?
Also, how is Gracie doing, please update us on her other thread

She goes up on 2 hind legs with her front legs on the glass and licks her glass enclosure for hours.
Gracie is ok. About the same. She is back on pain meds. But still eating, building nests, and doing ok.

Have you checked her water bottle? She may be trying to tell you something. Check it's letting out water properly. I sometimes put two in, just in case.

Yeah, she has 2 water sources also. A bottle and a water dish. Both are good to go. I have no idea whats going on. We are taking her to vet this wed. But she is completely fine during the day. Acts like her usual self. But at night, look out! She is just crazy hyper. Lots and lots of star gazing.
