Default Stella is weeing in her house :(

Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop her doing this as it can't be healthy? I have to empty the bedding out all the time cos she is soaking it with her wee

I was going to try taking some of the weed on bedding out and putting it in a hamster toilet but i haven't got one for her at the moment! Does anyone know if pets at home sell them as I don't want to go all the way there and then find out they dont have them! I would really like the one that came with Sausage's hamster heaven

Do you have just a plastic box you could use as a potty? Something like one of those plastic trays you get mushrooms in or Chinese takeaway trays is perfect. If you can get some sand or potty litter and put it in there with some of her wet bedding then hopefully she will get the hint.
This is not unusual behavior in young animals and usually passes.

My other 2 hammies have never done this... but i have a tub of mushrooms in the fridge I will put that in her cage with some sand and see if she does get the hint - I hope so! I did that before but with the bottom of a milk bottle but she tipped it over so the sand went everywhere!
