Default Hi, Newbie here with a question

Hi, we have two Syrian hamsters. Flash who belongs to my 11 year old. He is a gorgeous boy and he's 9 months old. We adopted him from the well known pet shop when he's 15 weeks old. We managed to tame him quite quickly. My 10 year old was desperate for a hamster so on Sunday while getting supply's from pet shop she begged us for her own hamster. She like her sibling paid for the hamster and cage with Christmas /birthday money. So we now have Quinn (it was caramel until on the journey home she managed to bite through the first box and nearly made her escape through second box so changed to (harley) Quinn) she is 8 weeks old and very screechy and quick. We are taking little steps with her as she's tiny and nervy but she is very nosey! Now after doing lots of research about female hamsters I have began to worry that it will have an effect on Flash. They are in seperate cages and in our utility room with a large sink and draining board between them. I've just checked on them and Flash made a weird noise like grinding teeth/gurgly belly he was very alert and came up to me when I went close. Is he ok or just sensing Quinn. Will it change his gorgeous personality?? Excuse typos and spelling I'm on my phone
