Default strange behaviour

Twice now I've seen koda doing something a bit weird, at least it seems weird to me. He went into a particular corner of his cage and turned so his bum was in the corner. He then lifted his bum up and pushed with his front legs so his bum slid up the corner of the cage. He stood there with his bum in the air for a few seconds, and then carried on as normal. I saw him do this twice the other day, in the same corner. Any ideas as to what he's doing?

I think he's going for a wee merita! Especially as he is doing it in the same corner.

This is the stance my Mo takes in her wee corner (after spinning round like 100 times before hand)

Yes he sounds as if he has chosen a wee corner. As they get bigger they can raise their rears even higher and spray your wallpaper so watch out

this particular corner faces the sitting room door so if he does it when someone's coming to visit, they could get sprayed LOL.
