Exclamation 2 hamsters die in a two day period???

I have two dwarf hamsters that had babies about 3 months ago in a 2 month period. I had to evacuate due to the hurricane and left for two days, when I come back in find out that the mother and father of these babies are dead. I separated the boys and girls because they were all old enough to eat on their own. Once I did that I clean their cage daily, play with them as much as I can, and I even create tiny courses for them. I don't know what the cause is or if it will happen to their babies and I am really worried. Does anyone have any clue why only the mother and father dwarf hamsters would die but the no babies have died yet. (the parents are roughly 6 months old btw) HELP!!!!

Probably from stress from Hurricane Matthew (I assume if you had to evacuate). The babies may have been too young to understand or something.

I'm not sure though but that is just what I think. Don't quote me on this.

Btw I'm very sorry for your loss . Fingers crossed the babies will be ok.
