Haha well that's different! Ah well! I didn't mind what gender I got when I went originally, I picked him because he came to say hello and won my heart with his big mouse ears... Which aren't as prominent as usual on that photo!

The long hair flowing hair on the syrian hamster is caused by testosterone. So if it long and flowing it's probably a boy

Thanks! I think he's pretty adorable too although I'm biased! I'm glad he's just a boy though haha! I'm very seriously considering calling him Mr Mabel as I can't stop saying Mabel now!
