Overcoming nervousness
As many of you are aware than my hamster, that i've had for 5 months, is still nervous, but a lot better than he was. At first when changing cage, I used a plastic ball but found he really did not like it in there, so I changed to a play pen (I have to ease him out on a wheel so I can spot clean vaguely). It all went well at first, he was anxious at first and began playing with his toys. Lately, he's been very difficult to remove from the cage, and even get him in the cage, i'm not sure whether he's anxious or just being a pain!?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated to make him feel better, thank you.
