Trying to Escape

It sounds like youre doing everything right.... maybe he's just Mr Climber! Willow loved to be high up more than anything else, we had to routinely climb the curtains (together, so i could catch her) and anything else that was climbable. i don't think she woudl have been happy without bars tbh. Maybe if he still seems restless you could hang him some ladders up the sides or something and platforms so he feels his getting somewhere. I nearly got Willow one of those string and wood climbing mesh things to hang up the side of her cage but I wasn't sure if she'd get caught up in it but I think they can do the job for some hams.

Yeah he is a big climber! He would monkey bar all day in his old cage, but was also a bar chewer so I had to make the bar-less DIY cage. The ladders are a good idea. I am working on a little level and I have a few logs standing upright that he loves to climb on and hop off. He has no curtains to climb I'm afraid though lol.

Haha he sounds a very busy little boy! The platform sounds just thing, and the more steps and levels he has probablythe happier he will be! Sometimes I'm glad my days of spending all my time entertaining a loony Syrian are over but you're making me miss her, ha!
